How to Change Mini Educator to 2 Dogs?

How to Turn a Mini Educator Into a Two-Dog System

The Mini Educator (ET-300) can control two dogs with one remote. You don’t need to buy a new system—just add a second receiver and follow these steps.

What You Need

  • 1 Mini Educator ET-300 remote

  • 2 Mini Educator receivers (collars)

Step 1: Unlock the Remote

Before pairing, make sure the remote is unlocked.

  • Hold the level dial/ lock button until 1D is flashing

  • The remote must be unlocked to change modes and pair collars

Step 2: Set the Stimulation Level to 0

  • Turn the dial down so the display reads 0

Step 3: Change From 1D to 2D Mode

  • Click & hold black (s), red (s), & black (t) until you see numbers flash

  • You should hear a beep

Step 4: Pair Dog 1

  • Touch the red pairing dot from the remote to the collar & hold until the collar is continuously flashing green

  • Press & hold black (s), then press & hold red (s) at the same time

  • This collar is now paired to the black (s)

Step 5: Pair Dog 2

  • Touch the red pairing dot from the remote to the collar & hold until the collar is continuously flashing green

  • Press & hold red (s), then press & hold black (s) at the same time

  • This collar is now paired to the red (s)

How It Works During Training

  • The stimulation level is shared between both dogs

  • Only the selected dog receives the signal

  • Use the black (t) to switch between stim and vibrate mode

Important Notes

  • Both dogs use the same stimulation level

  • Always test collars before putting them on a dog
